Overnight Kruger Safari

Day 1

We meet & greet at the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport in the corridor right opposite the arrivals hall from where we will depart with our specialized game viewer and catering trailer to the Kruger National Park. The drive of 45 minutes is through scenic terrain. Once we have entered into the Park we will stop for a quick lunch in a safe, shady spot.

Experiencing the Kruger National Park with us is an unforgettable experience! Something is happening all the time. If it is not a shy Kudu lurking behind a bush or an Elephant being spotted crossing the road in front of us, the abundant bird life, small mammals or insects will ensure that something is spotted doing something interesting. Your knowledgeable Ranger will interpret the bush and sighted game’s behavior.

Our game drive, snaking through the bush, will in the end bring us to our rest camp on the on the Kruger National Park for the night. A well-maintained rustic fly camp with on suite ablution awaits you.

Our Campsite Manager will quickly have roaring fire going and a cold beverage is enjoyed around the campfire till dinner is served, prepared on the coals in front of your eyes! This is quality time spend pondering about the days sightings with nocturnal sounds as back ground music. A short story or two also assist to add to the experience. After clearing the table quality time spend pondering around the camp fire until your bed is beckoning you for a well deserved night rest.

Day 2

Before sunrise you will be presented with hot Coffee & Tea, complimented by rusks upon awakening. On this early morning we game drive to see more animals and birds. We expect to see the nocturnal animals heading for a den to sleep the day away and the diurnal game waking up to start another day in their lives in Africa.

It is also the best time of the day see lion activity. The ever-present cool boxes and blankets on the vehicle will ensure that nobody goes thirsty or experience a morning chill. A container with snacks is on hand to nibble on, for those who experience early morning peckish-ness before brunch. Upon entering the rest camp a scrumptious brunch is presented, freshly prepared by our Campsite Manager. By this time your accommodation have been serviced already.

After clearing the table quality personal time is pent in camp. On the heat of the day we spend leisure time in the rest camp, bird watching to avoid being scorched in the sun. It is how ever your choice, to keep on driving looking for game or to have leisure time in camp.

Round about 14h30 to 15h00 we depart on an afternoon game drive after enjoying high tea. We will follow the game drive routs, looking up new and old friends alike on the route. Once again a fully stocked cool box with ice will be on hand to quench the thirst and a container with snacks is on hand to nibble on for those that feels the nibbles coming on. We will be staying out later returning to camp just before the gates closes, to maximize our game viewing opportunity.

Upon our arrival in camp, our camp fire will be roaring once again. Drinks around the camp fire while our supper is prepared on the coals in front of our eyes! After clearing the table you will be left on your own around the camp fire to enjoy the nocturnal sounds.
